Pot Bois is a lieu dit that many consider of 1er cru quality. The vineyard on the Hills of Chassagne Montrachet is surrounded by Grand Montagne and Caillerets 1er cru. This wine from 50yr old vines is vinified and aged in 30% new French oak for 18 months. The wine has great strength with a wonderful balance of fruit and mineral tones. It provides wonderful apple flavors with a stony characteristic that makes this wine seductive.
